Anybody remember Helix Software's Hurricane 98 ? I'm still using it on my Win 98 SE based Gateway Solo notebook. I recently did a clean OS install and then found that the disk on which I had copies of the updates for Hurricane was corrupted. I am looking for someone who might have these updates who could send them to me or direct me to where they can be downloaded. The file names are: 201w95.exe 202w95.exe 203w95.exe There may in fact be later updates than these. I would be interested in those as well. LuDean LuDean, I went looking to see if I had these updates (I too use Helix) but lo, no joy. Google search turned up nothing as well. I did look at the install directories and saw the latest file dates were 1998 and a few 1999. Most were 1996. If you think any of these files would help you let me know. McAfee's web site has a D/L section with two updates for it (I believe, there is some confusion between Helix Nuts & Bolts and McAfees Utilities). I downloaded the patches but the it did not find my installation. Heck, for $2 figured I try another approach. Maybe the software I'll receive on CD will be a little newer and will accept the patches. The patches are for McAfee Utilities v4 & 4.01. Maybe something like that would work for you!
