When I try to open a program that I installed from ebay I get: "This prog has
performed an illegal operation and will close down" Details:TL caused an
invalid
page fault in module dataobj_DLL at 0167:00847c15.
But I couldn't un-install it from add/remove. What I would like to
know is; would it be safe to just "delete" from the right click menu from
c/prog?
Thanks
Tassie

Yes. Do not be surprised at error messages
later (assuming this installation wrote some
file calls into your registry.) IIf you are apprehensive
about this, and if you installed the app less than
five days ago you can reload the old registry
via DOS boot and
SCANREG /RESTORE
and pick the date you want.
Unless you are 99 per cent sure this malfunction
was unintentional, better check your system for
trojans, viruses and other penetrationware.

You should ask the supplier, or post a question in the forums. It seems you
are not the only one having problems with the new version.
