RAM limit in an emachines etower 333k

how much ram can i put into an emachines etower 333k with Microsoft Windows
98SE can i put  more than 256 Megabytes of ram on my emachines pc? i
currently have 128 mega bytes of ram in it now. i do not want to add more
than I should and blow up my favorite pc. i have had this thing from 98 and
it would be nice to have it a little faster.... but i do not want to blow up
my motherboard.
HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!

The eMachines eTower 333k will use a maximum of 256MB RAM.  It has two memory slots,
which will hold a maximum of 128MB each.
