The other day when I started the PC a message came on
saying about windows 98 upgrades from Microsoft.  I said
what the hell as it was free. After that the PC ran Slow.
We have 2 hard drives one 10 and the other 120.  10 is the
C drive that came with the PC other installed last year.
Both worked good. 98 was on the C drive (I thought).
Last night I was going to use the restore disks. So I
unpluged D drive and restarted the PC. Error could not
find windows. Pluged the D drive back restarted the PC and
It was working.  Somehow windows was transferred from C to
D.  Now do I get it back to C so I can unplug D drive and
use the restore disks?????
Thanks

Be aware that Microsoft "never" inform of upgrades by email. If you see one it
is certain not to be cochure.
