I have the same problem as Mike. Whenever I try to view a
jpeg the message is the same: cannot find program.exe. I
have had this problem for a long time. Any suggestions.

I can't find a file on my system called program.exe. So, I'm guessing it's
not a Windows file but rather a file used by some application you have
installed or had installed on your system. This is an easy fix. Open
Windows Explorer. Click on the View/FolderOptions. Click on FileTypes.
Scroll down the list to find the entry which has the Program file name in
it. Delete the entry. That's all you need to do.

That simply means that win 98 doesn't know what program is associated with
the opening of JPG files. Search on Google for Irfanview and install it. It
will automatically do the association for graphics files and its a useful
program for viewing and tweaking just about any graphics file.
