I have a win98SE workstation that is unable to shut down - it reboots itself instead of properly displaying the "it is now safe to turn off your computer" message. Wjhen I go to start>shut down it emits a few beeps, the display goes dim... then the reboot occurs. ANy ideas why? Thanks! E This web site has excellent troubleshooting for this problem.
