Hi

Each time I go to print I am getting a Spool32 error say
that the program has performed an illegal operation and
will be shut down

Normally I would have the shut the computer off and then
restart

Any advise as to how I can stop this

thanks

As I just posted on the message above this one, spool32
can be caused by a lot of things. Not knowing the printer
nor windows you have can give you general info.
Check out: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?
scid=kb;en-us;191949
That is a start for getting info on spool32. If you have
HP printer go to their website and download current
driver. If HP do search on their web for spool32. Any
printer, make sure you clear windows\temp folder out and
then run disk cleanup and defrag under system tools.
Uninstall any old printers on your PC that you are not
using. If you had Lexmark and runing XP, but now no longer
have the Lexmark make sure it is removed correctly.
Lexmark makes the print spooler dependance on it... If you
don't know how to do any of the above... please as someone
or email me and I will attempt to help... Other than the
above not sure what to tell you without knowing exact
error message, printer, windows OS....
Hope this helps a little....
Have a great turkey day,
Bobby
