Hi I bought a Lexmark  X5150 printer and while starting
the installation it doesn't acknowledge that the cable is
connected. I talked to Best Buy and they said with Win98
1st edition it does'nt do very well with USBC@ cables and
I need some kind of upgrade please help me find thanks

Do you have other USB devices connected and functioning?  If not, you need
to confirm that USB is working.  Look in device manager for the USB
controller and root hub devices, and make sure they are configured
correctly.
