What printer do you have? Did you reinstall the printer using the latest
driver from the manufacturer? You may have corrupt files or mismatched
files that you did not replace and you may need to reinstall and choose to
replace all files. You will then have to reinstall Internet Explorer and
many newer applications and/or drivers that may depend on newer files that
they installed.
You might also try installing to a new folder:

The local printer is Epson-670k+,and the network printer

same message"window can't print the file".Because
windows98 have some programes that can't reinstall,so i

fix the problem. if must reinstall the IE or other program

I would definitely reinstall Internet Explorer since it upgrades quite a few
files so may resolve your problem.
