Where can I find or download this printer port for Win98?

There is none. If you have a HP JetDirect device (either installed in the
printer or an external box) there is a program on the HP CD to accomplish
this.

Apparently HP stopped supporting win98 machines printing
to HP printers with the JetDirect network card. At least
I haven't been able to find anything on hp's web site
after > 2 hours trying.

I dug up an old version of HP JetAdmin (3.42) that makes
installing the printer on a win98 machine a snap. It's
the only way I know to add an IP printer port in win98.
If anyone knows an easier way I'd appreciate it.
Apparently JetAdmin is no longer available for download
on the hp web site.

If I can help anyone with this this same problem, email
me at shea at acm dot org (reconstitute the address
yourself... just trying to avoid spam).

Also, if you download the Web JetAdmin package it's included there too but
this one is much smaller and easier to use.
