Printer Problem

I have a Hewlett Packard LaserJet 4m Plus and i cant print
from it. i went to start, settings, printers and it says
it is paused in red writing i dont know what to do. i am
using win98. it is a network printer. please help

does it have a jet direct box try turning off the jet
direct box for 5 mins or so and then try pinging the ip
address of the box (hold down the test button for about 5
secs and it should print out a test page) if it dosnt
print out a test page then it is in the printer or the
cable or both
