I use win98se. Printer is: Compaq IJ750. I was using First
Aid, to check on setting and see how everything is doing.
The Critical problem is my Printer. The Inkjet 4099 the
device listed under the Unnamed Device section of the
Device Manager has a problem. The Problems is: The drivers
for the device are installed incorrectly. Then there's a
solution, for me to do: click manual fix to bring up the
Device Manager and Hardware Conflict Troubleshooter. To
install the driver for this device, Click the Driver Tab,
and then click Change Driver.>>> I tried to do that, but I
couldn't find those exact instructions. I did devive
manager and when I clicked conflict troubleshooting, click
on 'next,' nothing came back in dialog box to help me
troubleshoot.  Please help me get the driver (4099) I need
for my printer.

Thanks for your understanding and help,
JFG

There is a 2001 driver on the HP site for the Compaq IJ750. What printer is 4099?
