My friend just got an HP PSC 1100 All in One printer. We
have been trying to install it on Windows 98 SE without
much success. It's taken six attempts to actually get
the printer installed, but now, it's still not
recognised - it keeps telling us that there is a problem
on LPT1, but the printer is plugged into a USB port. It
doesn't even seem to be installing the printer properly -
the HP Director icons aren't appearing and the printer
won't even print the cartridge alignment page.
Does anyone have any ideas please??
Thanks,
Alison
