I hooked up my USP printer, but can't print due to no USP
printer ports. This printer is USB only. All other USB
devices work fine. Any suggestions?

How about adding a USB PCI card?

Did you install the printer software? W98 does not support USB printer
ports - the printer software has to provide them.

Make sure that you follow the printer manufacturer's instructions for
installation exactly using the software that shipped with your printer or
newer drivers downloaded from their web site. Some manufacturers require
that you install the software before connecting the printer. Doing this
establishes the USB printer port. You are then prompted to plug in the
printer and the printer should be recognized.
Other manufacturers require that the printer be plugged into your computer
before the installation. Without knowing what printer make and model you
have, it's impossible to tell you what you need to do to troubleshoot your
installation problem.
