I have Windows 98. I am unable to clean the heads of my Epson 440 printer. I keep getting an illegal operation. I then click on close and the Word portion is frozen. What kind I do? I cannot run scandisk either. What is the complete error? It may help to either re-install the driver or update your driver. Printer drivers can become corrupt. Completely remove the driver before you re-install.
