Can't install additional printers on 98 second edition machine

I cannot install an additional printer on my 98 system. I
presently have a HP installed and it functions OK.

The 'add printer' wizard does not appear and the add
printer icon goes through the paces but the printer does
not appear on the list of installed printers. Any
ideas?

Do you get an error?

Do you have a setup disk for your new printer?
