I can't seem to find the correct way on doing it on a Windows 98 machine.
Please help.  Thank you.

There is no correct way, as Windows 98 doesn't support TCP/IP port printing
without added software.

So what software does it take.  I have the same problem with an HP LaserJet
5000n printer.
Thanks

If you have an HP printer or HP JetDirect device, you can download the
necessary software from HP's Web site:

(Watch for wrap, you may need to cut and paste the link back together)
