Novell Network not printing

Where I work, there is a novell network setup. All the computers in the
office (generally windows xp and 98) have no problem printing except for one
of the windows 98 machines. the windows 98 machine used to work but seems to
have just stopped out of the blue (or so the other employee's claim). When I
try to send off a test page from the printer properties page, the test is
sent off the to printer and I can see it in the queue when I view it but it
doesn't go through. Is there some sort of option that will cause this to
happen? Or is there some other sort of solutions that will get the job to
print rather than just sit in the queue with the status as "Ready".
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

What is different about this system from the 98 systems that work?  What is
loading at Startup?  Anything different from the others?  What version of
the Novell Client?  Be sure that you have the latest.  Is this computer
printing locally or to a network printer?  If it's locally, then also try a
new cable to see if that makes a difference.

I can't find any difference in the systems. I even updated the novel on the
one that isn't working so it's running the same as the rest. it can get on
the network and see the printers but it won't work. I think it's a problem
with it spooling it when it gets the job because it just says Ready instead
of Spooling or Printing. Nothing strange is loading at startup, just standard
programs that we've installed. it's printing to a network printer also. could
it be something with novel server maybe? something that's telling the printer
to not print the job but it sends it to the queue anyway or something? it's
very strange. if you have any further advice please help.
Thanks
