I have a windows 98 laptop that I am trying to install print drivers for a
Canon Imagerunner i330.  It is a network printer and I have the drivers
installed on the server.  When I go under the drivers, it says that it has
windows 98 drivers.  I am able to install the printer, but when I print a
test page it starts shooting out tons of scrap text.  I have tried adding it
as an IP printer using HP tools, and that doesn't seem to work either.  Any
ideas.  Thanks in advance for the help.

Can you confirm the model of the Canon... is it an Image Runner i3300?

It is an image runner i330s.  I found out that I needed to install LPR2
utility.  I couldn't event find the utility on Canon's site, I had to find it
on Gordon Flesch company website, but it works great.  www.gflesch.com and go
under downloads. for others who experience the same problem.
