I have installed a Canon Sx00SP USB printer on a Win98 machine, and the
proprietry companion software for it is seeing it fine. Windows itself
however is having problems, giving me a yellow exclamation mark in
Device Manager. I also can't get a USB printer port to show up.

Any suggestions?

Don't worry, I fixed the problem. It was a faulty driver installation
package.
