Hi,

I have been stumped by this problem.  We have a HP Deskjet 948C shared from
a Windows XP workstation.

There is one Windows 98 Workstation with the driver installed and set to
print to this printer.  The print driver is the latest from HP for both XP
and 98 Workstations.

When I try to print a test page from the 98 Workstation, the printer goes
through the motion of printing everything yet the only thing visible on the
page are the 4 colours in the Window Symbol.  No text is visible.

A test page from the XP workstation prints perfectly as it does from other
workstations (running xp)

We have another networked HP Deskjet 948C shared on another XP workstation.
With the only change being the unc path in the print driver on the 98
Workstation, the test page prints perfectly.

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks,

Rocky

You should try to contact HP with your problem.  Go to
http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/contact_us.html and select an option and
tell them.  Hopefully that will work

Good Luck!
