I have noticed the problem when using either a Lexmark or a HP printer.
I often change the font size. Could changing the font size cause the problem?
Could changing the top and/or bottom margin cause the problem?

If you have a similar problem with two different printers from two different
manufacturers, then you can pretty much exclude the printer as the cause.
Does it happen in one application only, or several applications? If more
then one application, then I would guess it's somewhere in the interface and
cable, as that's the only remaining common factor. Eg, check the BIOS
setting for the port mode, or try a different cable..

One thing that is in common is that I am printing web pages.
