I'm having a problem printing (Windows 98 SE) I get a solid freeze when
printing from any web page and also with some Word documents. I've
reinstalled the driver and run diagnostics with no luck. I'm running Norton
AntiVirus ( the version still supporting 98). I can ocassionaly get a
successful print but not with anything over a page long. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Which make and model of printer?

How much RAM in your PC and how much free hard drive space?

IE5, 5.5 or 6?  Which version of Word?

More info needed.

My printer is a Compaq J1200 I've got 319 MB of RAM running @ 53% free
normally. I have Word 2000 (9.0 2720) and right now I have 2127 MB's free
windows memory. I also forgot to mention the problem started about 6 mos. ago
and before that I had no problems. The only major change I can think of in
the last 6 mos. was dropping my Symantec Corporate Edition anti-virus (
doesn't support 98 anymore ) and getting Norton Systemworks 2001 instaed.
Thanks Again!
