Try this, it worked for me. Pisses me off that I lived with this &*&#@ error message for months and this little item seemed to fix it. Click Start - Run - type in regsvr32 IEPEERS.DLL - hit OK. You may want to restart your computer but I didn't need to. Find the line "Enable Third Party Browser Extensions" and ensure it is UNCHECKED. Close out IE....
