I recently installed a Canon S900 printer.  I use Windows
98SE.

Intermittently I receive the following message:
"There was an error writing to usbprn01 for the printer
(canon S900): Invalid access to memory location".  This
occurs after a partial page has printed and there is no
recovery.

I can eventually print the document usually by
unplugging/replugging the USB cable from the back of the
printer.

I have a powered USB hub with the printer, a scanner and a
cable for a TI calculator not connected to the calculator.

The first thing to do in troubleshooting is to connect the printer directly
to the USB port on the computer.  If the same thing does not happen, then
you may be having a problem with the USB hub.
