I was installing the software from cd to my computer
(win98),and there was a problem completing the
installation.  The message said the installation was not
complete and to un-install and start over.  I did this and
now when i click the install button on screen, I get a
message that the HP 710 has been un installed, but the
computer has not been re-booted. Re-boot and click
install. Of course it has been re-booted many times, but
the same thing keeps happening.

Does anyone have a reccomendation?

Thanks,
CK

If you were installing Win98, then try booting using the Win98 Startup disk.
From there, go to your CDROM drive and type setup.  For instance, if your
CDROM drive is e:, then type:

e:setup

If you were installing your printer, then boot into safe mode and remove the
printer from the printers folder and also go to Control Panel, Add/remove
programs and remove any printer utilities for this printer.  Then exit
Windows, restart your computer and reinstall the printer.
