Lost Product Key, Help!

I threw away my product key information and am trying to
recover Win 98 and apps with my Compaq recovery
disks....somebody send me a key, Compaq Help Line is
USELESS!

I doubt if anyone is going to illegally send you a key.

If Win98 is still running, get it from the Registry with Regedit.exe
The key is
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
The value is ProductKey

This is a Microsoft forum, you shouldn't be asking anyone to send
you a key ....... !
I would approach Compaq again for assistance, try their service
department not the help line.
