I have a Micron PC with Windows 98SE and want to use the
Revovery CD to restore factory settings.

Windows 98 was factory loaded, and I have no disk other
than the Recovery CD, which is unreadable from within
Windows 98SE.

Could you please advise me as to:

How can I boot directly to the Recovery CD?

Help would be appreciated.

Start your PC, hit  the  DEL key or whatever  key  is required  on a  Micron
PC to enter BIOS setup, [consult  the  manual if  necessary] and  set  the
CD as the  first  bootable  device.
Restart with the  CD in the  drive and  the  recovery  process will begin.
