I did an upgrade last night on my McAfee Antivirus ...
I had to reboot my computer to have the changes take
effect ...
On start up, I got the error message "explorer not found"
"reinstall windows", then I cant do anything else ...
My screen just freezes up ... HELPP!!!!

Start  up  and  press  the  F8 key to  get  to the  start menu, choose  DOS
prompt  only,  rename  autoexec.bat  and  config.sys with this  command:
ren  autoexec.bat  autoexec.old  <enter>
ren config.sys  config.old  <enter>
reboot  and  see  if  windows loads if  so,   you  may have  to  reinstall
McAfee and  contact  their  help desk for  assistance  with re applying  the
update.
If  no joy  you  may  be  able  to  restore  a  good  registry by entering
this  command  from the  start menu DOS prompt

scanreg /restore
choose  a date  prior  to  your  problem with the  McAfee update

Well, and I should add:    True security lies within.
