my computer told me to download a windows update, but as
soon as i did i am getting a windows fatal exception error
every time i try running certain software programs such as
Norton Anti Virus and AOL.

The fatal exception errors read as a variety of messages
including:

"A fatal exception error 0E has occured at 0028:D1005D92.
The current application will be terminated"
"A fatal exception error 0E has occured at 0028:CEDBCD90.
The current application wil be terminated."

Can anyone help me figure this out?
