I figured out how to fix the Windows. Now that I have
that going, I have a new problem. I have tried using an
Earthlink CD, an AOL CD, MSN, etc., etc. Whenever I
insert any CD, a box comes on the screen saying that
there is an error in the setup. Does anyone know what may
be causing this? I have checked the computer, and it does
have enough free space to download but this setup error
message keeps coming back. Thank you.

The error message will be very precise,
Make an exact note of the error message,
as you failed to post any details that we could
make any sense of, try the MS Knowledge
database/support site.

this site is invaluable, but it is primarily
a Windows-problems-solution.
Just type exactly the error message
you receive
