I used a clean up service, scanned my computer and
attempted to clean up the computer. When I rebooted my
computer i have no desktop and a error message that
says "explorer caused an invalid page fault in module
explorer.exe at 017f:00401f31"

I cannot find my win 98 disk, all i have is my dell
diagnostic disk

I have windows 98

Firstly don't post your real email address in NGs, you are inviting viri
and spammers in...

You may be able to resolve this by restoring a good registry by
starting to DOS [F8 key at boot up] choose command only from the menu
and enter this command:

scanreg /restore

pick a date prior to the problem.
