I installed Windows 98 on my Pentium II Computer. I am
unable to install the drivers for the sound card and the
video card. The cards appear to be onboard cards and the
marking is Foxcom.
How can I download the software and install please?

if you know the mfg of your motherboard
you should be able to download the drivers from their website

otherwise...you need to see if you can find the id #'s  on the sound & video
chips

also...there is a utility that can help you id the video& spound boards

HW Info 4.8 see :

http://www.bootdisk.com/utility.htm

once you id the chips you should be able to get the drivers from

www.driverguide.com

If they are on board download this small
utility it will tell you the motherboard
name and number and also point you to their
web site if it can.
  Get AIDA

.... however, if you wait for the redirection to the Lavalys site,
there is a freeware Everest System Information utility which does all
this and a whole lot more. It's really nice and doesn't "install"
(i.e. no registry changes or dll's overwritten) ... just unpacks to a
bunch of files with an executable so you can put them on your "Tools"
cd if you want and run from there.
