Hi guys,
for some time now I have been getting errors:

Explorer caused an exception 6d007fH in module
WEBCHECK.DLL at 017f:78b32599 then either my PC hangs and
needs rebooting or it just crashes.

I have tried viruscheckers, found some, but this did not
solve the problem.

Has anyone else come across this before?

Also, I am thinking of using the system restore pack to
get a 'clean' system. I have searched the knowledge base
but can't find out whether or not this option would wipe
out the contents of my D: drive, where I have stored all
my private files. Does anybody know the answer to this
also?

Many thanks in advance,

Is the D drive a seperate HD or did the PC
come with a partitioned HD.
If it is the latter of these the restore cd
will wipe D clean.
