I have a WIN98 SE system with 128MB of memory.  Every so often I get a
warning message or my computer freezes up.  The message is: "NOT ENOUGH
STACKS.  Increase the number of stacks in the startup file.

How do I increase the number of Stacks to the Maximum allowed for WIN98
SE?  What file is the Stacks in?  Does the number of Stacks have to do
with memory size?

Can Anyone Help?

Can you supply the message verbatim so there is no confusion?

Just in case it is this...
Error Message: There Are No Spare Stack Pages

RESOLUTION
To resolve this situation, add the following line to the [386Enh]
section of the System.ini file and then restart your computer:

  MinSPs=8
