I have a problem getting a "New" computer running Win.98 to boot a Dos
portion of a program. Try to make it short. The computer is at a local golf
course running a golf program for windows and can run in Dos for members as
well. On the old machine I had a simple Autoexec.bat file reading
CD\Scorekeeper and on the next line Members and it would load the Dos
program without loading Windows. It is easier for the staff to just shot it
off without it going through the disk check in start-up. I wrote the same
Autoexec.bat file in the new computer however it does not read the file but
continue on to load Windows. When Windows has loaded I can click on the
Autoexec file and it goes to the Dos program OK. The old hard drive is gone
so I can't check there but should there be a statement somewhere to get it
to read the Autoexec file in start-up?
The Bios is set to boot Floppy, Hard drive, and CD but changing order do not
help.
Command.com and Config.sys files are both empty.
Hope someone can steer me in the right direction.
Otto.

Try changing "CD\Scorekeeper" to "cd\scorek~1".  If this doesn't help,
please repost with more information, including the contents of
"c:\autoexec.bat".

Thank you very much Ben, that did it. Things are working perfect.
