Windows98se and ntfs

Hi,This might sound stupid,but can windows98se be installed on a NTFS instead
of fat32.Has anybody done it.

The Win98 OS cannot detect or read NTFS format.

98SE cannot read, write, or recognize NTFS.  There are add-on 3rd party
applications that can allow 98SE to recognize it.  However, you cannot
install 98SE or expect to run on an NTFS partition in any case.  The whole
basis of 98SE and prior 9X operating systems is msdos.  Msdos cannot
understand NTFS.  That's why you can't install to such a partition.
