Howdy! I've been running Win98 and decided to upgrade to Win98SE, but There
was a mixup and bought a full installation version of 98SE.  I tried running
it anyways, but the prompts tell me I must have an upgrade since I already
have 98 running on it.  I was wondering if there was anyway I could delete 98
& then fully install 98SE so I won't have to waste the money I spent on the
disc.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Please email replies at:
Mrs_Rhett_Butler@Yahoo.Com as that is the email I use more frequently.

Thanks,
Yolanda

Please don't post the same question to different newsgroups as that causes
us more work.  Answered in gen-discussion.

Email support can be a dangerous proposition.  When a response is posted in
the newsgroup, a lot of people are going to review it and make sure that the
answer is correct or at least that it will not do any harm to your PC.  When
you get an email, no one can review it to ensure it has good information.
Also, when you use a valid email address in a public newsgroup like this,
you may get tons of spam and emails with a virus attached.
