Insert the Logitech CD and see if it autoruns. If so, follow the on screen
prompts. I don't use a Logitech mouse so I cannot give specific
instructions.

since you are the MVP for Win98 maybe you can help? I have lots of error
messages (fatal exception, msgsrv32, kernel32) and other and after most they
want the installation cd which I no longer have because of my not thinking
boyfriend!! What do I do? I also deleted a user ( the computer was given to
me ) now some of our applications are gone too! I go in and click on it (
like excel) it wants the windows 98 cd. Why me? HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes the W98 files have been written to the hard drive. Do a find on:
win98_24.cab and if found, note its location on the drive. Then when the CD
is called for, browse to that location. If they are not on the hard drive,
then you are out of luck. You can try to pick up a used copy of W98 on
EBay. If you have a Compaq or HP PC, then you are probably totally out of
luck since both PCs use customized versions of W98.
