My latop just crashed and I had to format the drive. I used the
recovery disk that the Latop came with and I load it up and it runs and
is extracing and inflating files to get back to the original settings
and it stops, then it reading "CDR101: Not Ready reading drive Q". Is
there a way to maybe bypass this step to continue to load the software.
Any Help would be great.

Sounds like the CD drive may have failed.  Try cleaning it with an audio CD
player cleaning disc (it may take several cleanings if it's dirty) and if
that doesn't work you may need to replace the CD drive.
