I just setup a old computer in a new computer tower. But when i  went to
boot it up it saids it fail and i don't know why. All the pins are ok when i
took a look at them. I try three other floppy drives and it said the same
thing. Is it the cable to the floppy or could it be the mother board or
soming thing else? Can anyone help me out here please!

1.  Insert a floppy drive you know to be in working
order.  If it will not read this tells you the fault is in one of
-- power cable
-- data cable
-- mother board.
2.  With a working drive, try a different data cable (of
correct type that you know is OK.  If this fails too,
the trouble is either in the power cable or the motherboard.
2b.  Power cable should flash the light on the front of the
PC when you attempt to use the drive. Probably more
than one power cable connector is available.
3.  Unless skilled with a soldering iron, you probably
cannot repair the motherboard or power connnectors.

More details please.  Is there a system installed on the PC?  What exactly
are you trying to do when you get the message?  Are you trying to boot into
Windows with a floppy disk (cannot be done)?  What is the exact message you
get?

Maybe you put the cable on backwards...
If the light remains on at all times...it's backwards
