Is it possible to change the login name on a (networked) win98SE
computer that I have passed on to my wife.
Currently the computer name is myfirstnameinitial - that will stay so I
don't have to reconfigure any network settings
The Windows logon is my FirstName Initial Surname with a password and I
would like to change that to HerFirstName Initial Surname

I am happy to delete the old logon username but don't want to end up
with loads of already installed programs getting confused.

Many thanks

Just have her delete your name in the login box, and substitute the name
(and password, if one is needed or desired) she wants to log in with.  When
you want to log on use your login name (and password, again if needed or
indicated), when she wants to log on use her name and password.

Many thanks - I'll set her up as the default login with TweakUI as well.
