Can't play FreeCell anymore, I just get an hourglass when I start playing. Did you try removing and reinstalling Games, from Control Panel> Add\Remove Programs> Windows Setup tab? Frank If you don't have a Windows CD and don't have the setup files on the hard drive, then removing Games is not a good idea, as you won't be able to reinstall them without one of those. As for your Winnet.exe error message, check that spelling and make sure it is winnet rather than wininet. If it is in fact winnet, then most likely, it is the Winnet variant of "CommonName" ad-ware/spyware. Ad-Aware or SpyBot may remove it; otherwise, read the sections on manual removal of CommonName/Winnet: http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/CommonName.html Install Ad-Aware 6 free edition, start it, click its 'Check for Updates' link in the app to install updates, then use it to scan your system, and remove what it finds. But it told me it would Re-Run upon boot up and it did and Fixed everthing. Since then I have seen no evidence of that nasty little creature. I believe it's GONE.
