Upon normal startup, my Windows 98 screen comes up, then won't go away. It sounds like everything is loading normally underneath, but the Windows screen is still there, and I get an error ding with mouse clicks, etc. I can start in Safe Mode, but.... The problems began last week, when I could only get 16- color. Then the system couldn't find the modem... HELP!!!!! Your modem driver may need to be reinstalled as well.
