Hello,
I have been having problems with Windows
Explorer "Crashing" on my system.
Here are my system specs along with the error message that
is created when Explorer runs....
Of course this means any time I try to access anything
from the Start Menu (except for the Find -> Files or
Folders application) as well as trying to access any
program folders or shortcuts on my desktop (the shortcuts
in my toolbar still work though).
Every time the error occurs, the message below pops up and
my desktop background switches out of Active Desktop Mode.

Since I posted the original message, my system has become
even more buggy and I can't even get the Active Desktop to
restore :(
There are a total of 717 *.exe and 37 *.com files
(programs) on my PC.
Go to http://members.shaw.ca/ranwulf3/exes.html to see the
list (as I cannot get into Add/Remove Programs). The list
of files will be compiled and uploaded to my webspace in
about 10 minutes.

If the PC works in safe mode:
Spyware/scumware/adware are causing numerous system problems. I recommend
you download and use the following programs and consider removing everything
these programs identify. Be aware that there are frequent updates to these
programs and you need to check for them before every use.
AdAware: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
CWShredder: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/cwschronicles.html (download
link near the bottom)
Spybot: http://www.safer-networking.org/
