Can someone explain the differences between Windows 98
upgrade and Windows 98 SE upgrade? I am in a dispute
unfortunately with a buyer on ebay about this. Are there
other Windows 98 upgrades as well? This buyer was
thinking she was bidding on Windows 98 SE upgrade while I
was under the impression I had Windows 98 upgrade I was
selling. I am a Mac user and bought this for my dad
originally so I am a little unfamiliar with Windows
products.

There is a W98 upgrade disk which will upgrade from W3x and W95. There is a
W98SE (the CD contains the words, Second Edition) upgrade disk which will
upgrade from W3X, W95 and W98. Both of those CDs ran around $90. There is
a W98SE *update* disk which sold for around $20 which updated a functioning
copy of W98 only to W98SE.
