Sheesh,,,,,
I'm just trying to get my 'internet keyboard' to allow me to use the
Internet and Computer features that are associated with it.(ie, all the
small button features like: my computer, calculator, web, search, & etc).
Scenario::::::       I've checked the driver(s) and windows says I'm using
the optimum driver for the keyboard I'm using, but its obviously not
recognising the fact that I've got an internet keyboard.
Anyhow, I went to micros download site and started to d/load what I thought
was a simple driver to fix the prob,' instead it wanted me to d/load nearly
8 megs of "whatever" but I stopped the d/load.
Can anyone here point me to the place I'm supposed to be at to get these
features to work?
It used to work and I've checked all the disks and etc that came with the
puter when I bought it but cant find anything that relates to the keyboard.
Its not rocket science but its annoying me.

I believe you should have received a CD with your keyboard.   There is a 7+
mb driver available here:
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/DownloadResult.aspx?prod=pk_m
k&os=98&lang=en&driverVersion=IntelliType%20Pro%205.2

But Ron........
thats the same place I was at earlier tonight and it wants me to d/load
nearly 8megs; surley a driver is not that big?
Also, I do have all the stuff  that I got from the dealer that I bought my
computer from (about 4yrs ago) and I cant find any thing that relates to the
keyboard.
Its just a simple microsoft keyboard that has the internet and other
features on it.........it was new at the time around 4yrs ago.

Drivers can actually range from 1KB upto and over 50MB, depending on the
hardware/software that requires it.

oops,,,,,,,,,,,
I guess I should have read your post more carefully, I guess drivers are
that size.
I thought they were measured in bytes, not mega's.

Just on a hunch, try typing TYPE32 at Start>Run that is the
proggie for my Microsoft Multimedia Keyboard.  If it exists,
then you should have those hotkeys available.
