I insert the window 98 CD into my CD drive and then reboot, the setup screen
appears and asks me to pick wether to boot from CD drive or hard drive, I
pick CD drive and then I get to the windows 98 setup screen.
After going through a couple of steps it wants me to pick which drive to
install windows.  I want to install it on a twenty GB partition, becuse I
have a 50 GB hard drive that I partitioned into a 30 and 20 GB hard drive.

So can you tell me what to type when it wants me to pick a drive to install
Windows 98?

Not enough info.  It appears you are using an OEM CD which does not have a
standard format so start by identifying your computer.  Then describe what
is on the screen when you are asked to pick a partition.  Do you have one
hard drive that is partitioned 30/20?  What type of partitions are
they--primary or logical?
