that's very odd, why do you want command prompt in startup anyway? i'd
really like to know.

now, to address your problem, my safest bet is to delay the execution of cmd
prompt after  all the other startup programs have finished launching, this
way, it will keep its' full-screen mode without any interferance.

you can delay it's launch by using a program like delayexec, using it you
can specify the number of seconds before it runs command, i say configure it
to wait for like 8-12 seconds(depending on how many programs you have
running in startup. make a shortcut to delayexec with the right paramater to
command and seconds and then add this shortcut to your startup instead of
the command prompt shortcut.

hopefully that will work..i'd still like to understand why you need cmd to
run at startup.
