Hi all,

When i try to shutdown my windows 98 machine, my monitor
and keyboard,mouse get hangup.
What would be the cause for that problem.
But once when i restart the machine and shutit down iam
not getting the problem.
After sometimes after the work, i face the same problem.

What would be the actual cause for this problem.

Regards
Ravishankar

This article has a link in it to pages full of articles on shutdown
problems.

Definitely, try... "START, Run, MSConfig, Advanced button". Check
"Disable fast shutdown", if there. The item won't be there, if you have
downloaded a certain patch from Windows Update.
